The
official name of our house
corporation is The James
Cochran House Association
of Phi Kappa Psi, Inc. It
was chartered as a WV corporation
on May 1st, 1929.
As
owner of the chapter house
which is known as the James
Cochran House the house
corporation manages and
maintains it as well as
the chapel and the Goose
House next door.
The
active chapter leases the
James Cochran House which
includes the Memorial Chapel
from the house corporation.
There
are 17 directors, 15 of
whom were elected by the
membership, plus the President
and Treasurer of the active
chapter.
The
house corporation meets
four regular times a year
plus an annual meeting to
coincide with the events
surrounding the fraternity’s
Founders Day observance
in February.
